Karen and Andrew Watkinson are the founding owners of Djirang Plantation. Djirang, aboriginal for “leaf”, befits the nature of their business, sustainable cultivated foliage. None of their product is from wild harvest.
Djirang Plantation is a 10 hectare property located in the hill’s of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland town of Eudlo, also aboriginal, meaning “place of the eel”. We pride ourselves on our selection of unique Australian Native and exotic foliages that we have developed and tested for suitability as cut foliage.
The unique micro-climate and well drained soils of our farm have allowed us to produce a range of products which are not commonly grown in this region, or regularly available to florists.
Karen is instrumental in developing and maintaining the E commerce and administration of the business while Andrew provides the horticultural and environmental expertise required to produce the stock.
We present to you a range of products which are organically grown and harvested with environmental sustainability.
